Stan Urban, 79, from Scotland brought the house down during his blind audition on the show, performing a rendition of Chuck Berry’s “Little Queenie.”
His playing piano ability was a flurry of energy, showcasing his impressive chops with plenty of fireworks up and down the piano, and a lithe baritone voice. Urban’s incredible performance won over the audience and judges, especially Olly Murs.
Later, the seasoned rocker Stan Urban teamed up with the iconic Sir Tom Jones for an electrifying duet on the Voice UK. The two artists set the stage ablaze with a performance of the old-time classic “Great Balls of Fire.”
The impromptu collaboration with Urban on the piano and Jones on vocals took place on November 4, reviving the spirit of Jerry Lee Lewis’s classic hit. Urban’s lively piano playing perfectly matched with Jones’s strong voice, getting the audience on their feet, dancing, and clapping along.

Throughout this unforgettable moment, the judges couldn’t help but beam with delight, and the crowd was enthusiastically encouraging all judges to hit their buzzers. Despite the enthusiastic response, Murs was the sole judge to give Urban a nod.
Murs praised Urban’s audition, expressing admiration for the performance. He said “I grew up on all that music and I absolutely loved that performance and that’s why I pressed my button.”
Will.i.am also said, “You know what’s crazy amazing? Who would have thought that Stan was going to come out rocking on that piano? Thanks for bringing that vibe, that energy, and dang those shoes are awesome.”
Meanwhile, Anne-Marie commented, “You looked so great, and you sounded so good as well. It was just just a joy to see everyone up on their feet and clapping. I feel like Olly is the perfect person because he wanted energy and a vibe, and you just bought it completely.”
