Katie Price has shown off her new pet, a Sphynx cat, to fans on TikTok, despite facing backlash after seven of her previous pets died.
The reality TV star and OnlyFans model was seen with the cute cat climbing on her shoulders in a video where she was demonstrating her new air fryer. Just six months ago, a petition was launched to stop Katie from owning pets after her dog Blade was hit by a car and another dog, Sharon, was killed on the same road.
Over the past six years, Katie has lost five dogs, a horse and a chameleon. Katie has hit back at critics who say she shouldn’t have pets. “Who said I shouldn’t have animals? Tell me why I shouldn’t have animals? Tell me why? I’m going to prove you f**kers wrong who say and believe everything” she raged.
“It’s like my driving license someone says I shouldn’t drive for medical reasons, someone from the public said it and I proved them wrong. I had the RSPCA out and they ticked every box to say my animals are healthy they ticked every box. I’m going to prove to you lot the RSPCA have been here, done an inspection and I passed everything.”
In the past, Katie has spoken about her love for animals and how she never turns down the chance to care for a cat or dog. She recently became the owner of a seventh dog after rescuing a black Labrador puppy in November. On her podcast, she told her sister Sophie: ” I get a call from a friend across the road, ‘Kate, someone has just given me a puppy, they can’t have it, can you have it?'”
“I am like, ‘What is it? A Black Labrador,’ and I went, ‘Aw I really can’t have any more dogs,’ and I said, ‘Just bring it over.’ So I have got a nine-week-old Labrador puppy. They had puppies, sold it to someone and they got it for their kid who has got autism but the kid is going absolutely mad with it”
She said: “They have had it three weeks, the puppy must be 12 weeks, sorry. Tiny it is. I said, ‘Bring it around, so I have rescued a dog.'” Katie also added: “I couldn’t say no, it turned up and needs a home, so I have rescued a black Labrador pup.”
