Lauren Sánchez wished Jeff Bezos a happy birthday in a special way! To celebrate his 60th birthday, she posted a message on social media. In the Instagram post, she said, “Happy birthday baby 🖤” and shared a picture of herself wearing a see-through black lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress had the D&G logo on it, and she also wore a black bra underneath. She had her hair down, with bangs framing her face, and wore a single necklace. Her 30-carat engagement ring was visible too.
Bezos commented on the post, saying, “Happy to be going around the sun with you. ❤️” Earlier in the day, she shared a more detailed birthday tribute with a carousel of images. The first photo was a throwback of Bezos eating fried chicken in his younger days. The next photo showed a chocolate cake with two candles.
In another post, Sánchez shared more about Bezos turning 60. She said, “Today is another day where your laughter fills our home, and that smile of yours lights up every room. Wishing you an abundance of simple joys and quiet moments of happiness. May this year be filled with everything you love, from peaceful mornings to joyous celebrations.”
She expressed her love, saying, “I hope each day brings you countless reasons to smile, just like you give me a reason to smile every single day. Love you, and happy birthday, my love. ❤️🤍❤️” The final photo was a black-and-white picture of the couple standing outdoors, laughing and looking into each other’s eyes.
They started dating in January 2019, and they got engaged on May 23, 2023. In an interview with Vogue, Sánchez shared her surprise when Bezos proposed on his $500 million yacht. She said, “When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit.”
At the time of the interview, they hadn’t figured out the details of their wedding. She said, “We’re still thinking about the wedding, what it’s going to be. Is it going to be big? Is it going to be overseas? We don’t know yet. We’ve only been engaged five months!” After the proposal, they were very happy and in love as they explored Spain and France together.
