Famous star was mysteriously found dead in her home earlier this morning.
Friends and family of an adult film star have spoken out after she was found dead in her home this morning for no clear reason.
Sophia Leonie, who is 26 years old, was found in her Albuquerque, New Mexico, apartment not responding to anything. Homicide detectives are now reportedly investigating her death.
Mike Romero, Sophia’s stepfather, set up a GoFundMe page to help her family after she died on behalf of her mother and family.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s passing,” it said.
“Sophia will be missed a lot, but those who loved her will always remember her.”
“May she rest in peace forever.”
“There is no doubt that Sophia deserves the best memorial possible.”
Sophia was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend who was loved by many. In particular, she loved her three pets very much.
“She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile.”
We don’t know what killed Sophia at this time.
101 Modeling (@101modelinginc), the actress’s modeling agency, said on X (which used to be Twitter) that her death is being looked into as a murder-for-hire robbery.
Also, in an X post, the modeling agency said, “Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone.” You can read the post here.
“A lovely soul that touched many of us.”
“Rest in peace, sweet angel. You were loved.”
Robert Moran from 101 Modeling told AVN on Saturday that he and his team tried to call Sophia several times last week but got her voicemail every time.
Sophia has a few bookings coming up, and they were looking forward to seeing her in Los Angeles, California.
In 2004, Brian Berke started AMA Modeling in South Florida. Later, he helped start 101 Modeling in Los Angeles. He wrote on X that he is heartbroken over Sophia’s death.
“You started working with me at AMA when you were 18, and now that you’re 26, I have to say goodbye,” Brian said on X.
“Our bond was so strong.”
“We always told each other how much we cared.”
“I was meant to be your guardian angel.”
“A part of me is gone.” Sophia, I love you. “Brian.”
