An 8-year-old girl who fell from a high-rise balcony has been photographed for the first time.
It was on August 24 when Minnie tragically died after falling from the balcony of a tower block in Portsmouth.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the young girl could no longer be saved.
A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect but has since been released on bail.
Portsmouth resident Lisa Knight set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for a ‘special place for Minnie’s siblings and family to go to remember her.’
“All money raised will go towards a wake for Minnie and a memorial bench in a special place for Minnie’s siblings and family to go to remember her,” she wrote. “I am doing this on behalf of her mum (and with her permission) as you can imagine she is in no fit state to organize this herself.”
According to reports, Hampshire Police is investigating the incident. They have appeared for witnesses or those with any information about the tragedy to come forward.
“We are appealing for witnesses following the death of an eight-year-old girl in Portsmouth,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

“We attended along with our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service who treated the eight-year-old girl, who subsequently died. Her family have been informed.”
Flowers were left outside the apartment complex following Minnie’s death.
“RIP little angel. We are saddened to hear of the passing of your child. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed,” one message read.
