Ridiculous/ Oklahama man is declared innocent after spending 48 years in prison

Glynn Simmons has been formally declared innocent after enduring nearly five decades of wrongful imprisonment.

Simmons, initially sentenced to death in 1975 for a murder during a robbery, was released in July due to withheld evidence. This marks the longest known wrongful sentence in the US, as reported by NBC News.
