Man who donated blood every week for 60 years saved the lives of 2.4 million babies/ Share for support

James Harrison, known as the “Man With The Golden Arm”, has donated his “special” blood every single week for 64 years. 🩸👶

According to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Harrison’s actions have directly saved the lives of more than 2.4 million babies in need of blood.

Harrison’s blood has unique, disease-fighting antibodies that have been used to develop an injection called Anti-D, which helps fight against rhesus disease.

His remarkable gift has saved the lives of so many and was inspired when he had his own life saved during a chest surgery in which he required a blood donation.
