Army veteran saves 18-year-old who jumped off a 50-foot bridge as he was driving by

A heroic army veteran dove off a bridge into a river to save the life of a stranger. ❤️

Juan Serrano and his wife were driving back from church in Virginia when they saw a teen walking in the emergency lane of the highway.

As they approached the kid, they offered him a ride, yet the teen began to get closer to the edge of the bridge and suddenly jumped off.

Juan immediately dove off the 50-foot bridge to save him, regardless of it being pitch dark outside and being in freezing conditions.

The army veteran shared his story not in hopes of getting recognition but to raise awareness about the need for more mental health resources.

“I was just a guy with my wife, passing by, and God put us there for a reason,” – Juan Serrano.
