A woman born without hands, raising two children on her own, and working as a makeup artist.
The girl’s name was Vera for a reason. She was born without arms, and one leg was shorter than the other. Unfortunately, no one could determine why, and the doctors’ indifference resulted in the following phrase: “She won’t live another five years.”
The parents’ state of mind is impossible to describe. But even in this situation, their love never failed her, and they never considered the possibility of taking her to an orphanage. Vera grew up in a happy, especially kind and loving family, where she was never discouraged, and no one gave up on her. Her older siblings never let her get into trouble and treated her with great care.
She studied remotely, but very diligently. She even learned to write with her feet. Not once did she ask for help. But through all these challenging years, she maintained a positive attitude and faith, which is very symbolic.
Today, she does embroidery and is a certified makeup artist. She is regularly photographed and interviewed, but despite her fame, she remains a down-to-earth and very friendly person with a genuine smile.
After all, Vera is a role model for all of us and a reason to reflect on our own capabilities. She earns a living, makes money, does what she loves, and raises children, all with her own unique personality.
